Baba always made it clear that family is everything. He is a father of “atypical” Asian kids who have carved their own paths by nourishing community and creativity. Food is his love language. Baba’s eyes always lit up when we had friends over, sharing an endless flow of red wine and fond memories over the dinner table followed by several rounds of mahjong. This is the legacy our family builds in his honor: that warm feeling of home, joy, and nostalgia.
